Our approach
Some approaches replace technical knowledge with automatic code generation and solutions without architecture. The result is usually fragile: security vulnerabilities, poorly governed data and uncontrolled infrastructure or API costs. At Gestycontrol we start from a solid technical background and implement AI where it adds value. We do not use it to replace what has to be properly designed, secured and operated.
The same standard as in the rest of our systems. Permissions, data minimisation, auditing and controls — also when a model is involved. This includes preventing company information from ending up in unauthorised AI tools.
Suitable models, limits, caching and measurement. No surprise bills caused by a lack of infrastructure knowledge or uncontrolled API usage.
The model does not decide architecture, secrets or access. The team does. Ownership of the code and of the risk.
We avoid unrestricted and uncontrolled use of tools without a proper licence, free tools or tools without an adequate contract, especially those where company content is uploaded to an artificial intelligence service whose provider may use it to train the model. We define which tools are authorised, under which contractual conditions and which data may be processed. The goal is to protect confidential information, code and know-how: AI must operate within a framework of licence, privacy and accountability, not at the cost of making the organisation's material available to third parties.

We are a young team, with more than 15 years building production software and a culture of continuous training and adaptation to new technologies. That combination — energy to learn and experience not to improvise — is what has allowed us to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the same technical rigour with which we already built systems, not as an improvised shortcut.

This is not running text through a generic translator. It is business content translation integrated into the content lifecycle: the same structure across languages, brand and sector glossary, preservation of templates and variables, locale versioning and publication only after review.
How we work
We also help establish internal criteria so that the team does not freely use unlicensed, uncontrolled or free tools that expose documentation, code or business data to AI services whose provider may train models with the submitted content.
Legacy and modernisation
In many projects the starting point is not a new system, but a legacy environment whose real behaviour must be understood before it can be modernised. We approach reverse engineering in a controlled way: analysis of the software, its dependencies and related integrations in order to reconstruct operational logic, extract and document business flows, implicit rules and friction points. On that knowledge we plan migration to current architectures, incorporating hardening, access control, attack-surface reduction and progressive validation. The aim is to preserve business continuity without uncritically carrying over technical debt or vulnerabilities from the source system. Where it adds value, Artificial Intelligence (AI) speeds up the analysis and documentation of those flows; architecture decisions, security and responsibility for the outcome remain technical and human.

Frequently asked questions
No. We are a software development company. We implement AI in projects from a technical stack, with security and control. AI does not define who we are; it defines one more capability.
We start from technical criteria: architecture, hardening and ownership. AI accelerates or automates; it does not replace the team's knowledge or cover gaps.
Without design, yes. We size the model, caching, limits and monitoring so that the cost per operation is predictable. Lack of knowledge creates disproportionate bills, not AI itself.
No. We do not send your company's content to free public models. We design the architecture according to your policy: enterprise APIs, private environments, on-premise installation, anonymisation and data minimisation.
It is the same pattern we see with many online PDF or QR utilities: out of haste or lack of awareness, files and data are uploaded to third-party servers when that is not necessary. With AI the risk is greater, because that content may be exposed to the provider and, in many cases, used for model training. That is why we insist on authorised tools and on not processing company information outside a controlled environment — the same criterion behind our PDF utilities and QR generators, which run in the browser without sending your files off the device.
In critical processes we combine automation with human validation and confidence thresholds. We do not sell blind faith in the model.
