Every photo taken with a phone or camera stores EXIF metadata: the exact coordinates of the place where it was shot, the date and time, the camera model and even the software used to edit it. When you email that photo or publish it on certain sites, all of that travels with the file and anyone can read it. This tool shows you at a glance what each image contains and lets you download a clean copy.

Private and free, and here that's not a slogan: cleaning the metadata off a photo by first uploading it to a stranger's server would rather miss the point. Your photos never leave the browser; nothing is uploaded to any server. For JPG files the cleanup is lossless (only the metadata blocks are removed and the pixels stay untouched). Download each photo separately or all of them together in a ZIP.

PNG and WebP files are re-encoded in the browser to drop their metadata blocks, so file size may vary slightly.
